Sydney earned a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies in Spring 2019 and an M.A. in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University in Spring 2022. She joined the Ohio State community in Summer 2022 as a Program Coordinator in First Year Experience, where she primarily supported and supervised FYE Peer Leaders and assisted new first-year students in their transition to college life.

In Summer 2025, Sydney joined the Department of Political Science as an Academic Advisor. In this role, she supports undergraduate students with general academic advising, degree planning, and serves as the Internship Coordinator for Political Science majors.

Outside of work, Sydney enjoys exploring farmers markets, practicing hot yoga, exploring the beauty of Columbus, and reading rented books from the Columbus Libraries with her two black cats!
