Graduate Handbook

This handbook is designed to provide the graduate student in Political Science with guidance in developing and carrying out an advanced program of study.  In it are summaries of the requirements, procedures, and policies for the various fields of study and degree programs offered by the Department. There is also a section related to Department services and procedures for graduate students.

Additionally, the Graduate School Handbook contains the rules, policies, and guidelines applicable to the graduate community at The Ohio State University. It is the primary reference guide for graduate students, graduate faculty, and graduate program staff. These rules, policies, and guidelines are reviewed by the Graduate Council and approved by the Vice Provost for Graduate Studies and Dean of the Graduate School. The handbook is regularly updated through the year as the Graduate Council makes or revises rules and guidelines.
