Minseon Ku was awarded a Mershon Center for International Security Studies Student Grant for 2021-2022.

Erik Clarke won 3rd Place for Best Social & Behavioral Sciences Poster Presentation at the 2021 OSU Hayes Forum.

Kaitlin McClamrock was awarded the Decision Sciences Collaborative Small Research Grant for work on conflict avoidance and selective exposure in minoritized communities.

Kaitlin McClamrock was awarded a Mershon Center for International Security Studies Student Grant for 2021-2022 for research on norms driving individual and community relationships to civic culture in New American communities.

Natalie Romeri-Lewis was awarded a Mershon Center for International Security Studies Student Grant for 2021-2022.

Seamus Wagner was awarded an International Research and Scholarship Grant from the Office of International Affairs for 2019-2020 for research on "Constituency Development Funds: A Case of Opposition in Tanzania."

Fellowships

Maryum Alam was awarded a Yale University Brady-Johnson Pre-doctoral Fellowship for 2024. 

Benjamin Falcon was awarded the APSA Diversity Fellowship for 2022 and 2023. 

Matthew Mills won the Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship from the OSU East Asian Studies center for language study for 2024. 

Charles Harpoole won a Kentucky Historical Society Research Fellowship for 2021.

Natalie Romeri-Lewis was recognized as an honorable mention in the 2021 Ford Foundation Pre-Doctoral Fellowship Program competition.

Kaitlin McClamrock was named a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF- GRFP) fellow, studying decision-making in communities under threats of violence. 

Natalie Romeri-Lewis was awarded an American Political Science Association Spring Diversity Fellowship.

Barbara Roth was awarded a Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship for 2017.
