Two Political Science Faculty Awarded Huber Faculty Fellow Award

Professors Vladimir Kogan and Jennifer Mitzen have been selected to win a Joan N. Huber Faculty Fellowship. This program recognizes scholars in the social and behavioral sciences for their work. No more than three professors are awarded this fellowship each year by the college.

The award is supported by endowment funds in honor of Joan Huber, who was Dean of Social and Behavioral Sciences from 1984-1992. 

Vladimir Kogan is the Director of Undergraduate Studies and a Professor of Political Science at Ohio State. He earned his PhD from University of California, San Deigo, and now studies state and local government in the United States. His research focuses on the intersection of politics and public policy in areas including education and social policy. 

Jennifer Mitzen earned her PhD from the University of Chicago and is a Professor of Political Science at Ohio State. Her research focuses on international relations theory, ontological security, global governance, and international history.
