Political Science Department Celebrates Two Faculty Publications
On October 8th, the Department of Political Science gathered in the Derby Hall courtyard to celebrate the recent publications of two faculty members with "book cakes".
Professor Randall Schweller was recognized for his new book, Broken Cycle: World Politics in the Age of Dissent, which examines the historical cycles of great-power rise and decline and how these shifts shape the international order, offering insight into current global tensions and the future of world politics.
Professor Alexander Wendt was also recognized for the release of his book, The Last Humans, which explores how the potential discovery of extraterrestrial intelligence could reshape global security, challenge state sovereignty, and destabilize the international political system.
Congratulations to both professors!
