Charles Smith earned both Bachelor and Master degrees from Ohio University. He has taken extensive graduate courses in political science at Ohio State and has taught a wide range of courses in the Department of Political Science since 2001. He developed and currently teaches PS 4139: Gun Politics. In 2002, he was awarded The Henry R. Spencer Award for distinguished teaching.
A former high school teacher, Mr. Smith has been an advisor in the Department of Political Science since 2003.

David received a B.A. in Anthropology and Religious Studies at Utah State University in 2016, and an M.S. in History from Utah State University in 2018. During that time, they worked with students as a graduate assistant and peer advisor. David joined the faculty in Fall of 2022, and assists undergraduates in the department of Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, as well as the Political Science department.
