Political Science Associate Professor Erin Lin, who has been awarded the Fulbright-Hays Faculty Research Abroad Fellowship, was honored at a Fulbright recognition ceremony on Monday March 31. Beginning November 1, she will embark on her fieldwork in partnership with the Mines Advisory Group, a humanitarian organization that removes landmines and unexploded ordnance from 70 countries. Lin will be collecting oral histories of survivors of the U.S. bombing campaign during the Vietnam War.
Chen Shan (Frank) Liu, was also honored at the ceremony. Originally from Taiwan, Liu is doing a fellowship through the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program in the Political Science department at OSU, hosted by Janet Box-Steffensmeier.
