Taís Souza Carareto is a Ph.D. candidate, specializing in Political Theory and International Relations. Her primary research interests are feminist theories, political theory, gender studies, political violence, authoritarian regimes, and Latin America.  She holds a B.A. in International Relations from São Paulo State University (UNESP) and an M.A. in International Relations from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), both in Brazil. Before joining Ohio State, she had international experiences through academic and professional endeavors, including studying at the University of Salamanca, in Spain, as part of an exchange program funded by Santander Universities, and working at Study Melbourne, an initiative from the Victoria State Government in Australia.
