Barbara Roth is a PhD student studying Comparative Politics and International Relations. Her research interests include spatial dynamics of intrastate war, governance by rebel groups, and the political economy of conflict.

Before joining the graduate program at Ohio State, Barbara earned a B.A. in Media Studies and Political Science from the Free University of Berlin, Germany and an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Utah.
