Biography

Lareina Lin is a first-year Ph.D. student in American Politics at The Ohio State University. Her current research interests center on political behavior, with a particular focus on the roles of emotions, beliefs, and information processing in shaping attitudes toward conspiracy theories and political paranoia. She is also interested in exploring American political culture by both theoretical and empirical approaches.

Before joining Ohio State, Lareina earned an M.A. in International Studies from the University of Washington, Seattle, and an M.A. in Social Science (MAPSS) from the University of Chicago. She holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.
