On Tuesday, April 19, a small group of Ohio State University students met with two prominent experts to discuss the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nuclear agreement with Iran. Jessica Tuchman Mathews, former president of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and Richard Nephew, lead sanctions expert for the U.S. team negotiating with Iran, spoke with students from the Collegiate Council on World Affairs and Alexander Hamilton Society groups about the details of the JCPOA and its implications for domestic and foreign policy both in the United States and in Iran. The event was organized by the Department of Political Science and co-hosted by the Columbus Council on World Affairs and The Iran Project.
