Anthony Mughan, professor, political science and director of International Studies, has been invited to take part in deliberations on the provisions of Egypt’s new democratic constitution. On March 16, Mughan will make a presentation to the members of Egypt’s upper house of parliament, the Shura Council, and their staff members on the composition and powers of senates around the world. The event is organized by Global Partners, a UK government-sponsored organization that promotes democratic politics, effective governance, and human rights.
