Corrine McConnaughy Chosen as Contributor for Monkey Cage Blog on Washington Post

The popular political science and politics blog, The Monkey Cage, has now made its official transition to the Washington Post and Professor Corrine McConnaughy has made the move with them.  She has officially joined the team as an occasional contributor and will be posting for them on a regular basis under her own byline – highlighting Ohio State as a player in the “political science can inform politics” game.

Some of her previous guest posts include a piece discussing the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman controversy which was also featured on Andrew Sullivan's, The Dish and Why Romney's Debate Win May Be a Loss Among Female Voters.

Professor McConnaughy’s principal research interests are in identity politics, focusing primarily on the roles race and gender play in American politics, and in the development of political institutions.  She also has research and teaching interests in methodology, particularly in the design of social science research for causal inference.

Be sure to watch out for her upcoming posts and visit the blog often for great information about what is going on in the field of Political Science.
