Alexander Wendt Awarded the Johan Skytte Prize in Political Science

Alexander Wendt, Professor of Political Science and Mershon Professor of International Security, is one of two joint winners, of the Johan Skytte Prize in Political Science for 2023. This prize honors exceptional contributions to the field of political science, in this case for helping to establish constructivist approaches to international relations. The Skytte Prize is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the field of Political Science, sometimes referred to as "The Nobel Prize of Political Science." Martha Finnemore, University Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at George Washington University, was also jointly awarded the Skytte Prize for 2023.
