On October 8th, the Department of Political Science gathered in the Derby Hall courtyard to celebrate the recent
publications of two faculty members with "book cakes".
Professor Vladimir Kogan was recognized for his new book, No Adult Left Behind: How Politics Hijacks Education Policy and Hurts Kids, which explores the political forces shaping education policy at the expense of student outcomes.
Vernal Riffe Professor Jan Box-Steffensmeier was also honored for the release of The Oxford Handbook of Engaged Methodological Pluralism in Political Science which she coedited with Dino P. Christenson and Valeria Sinclair-Chapman.
