Emmanuella Amoh will share insights gleaned from conducting multi-site, multi-country research focusing on the era of Ghana’s decolonization. Cumulatively, this speaker series seeks to illuminate a pathway in which scholars and archivists can imaginatively pursue scholarship beyond the confines of imperial archives. Pizza and soft drinks will be provided. Speaker Emmanuella Amoh is a PhD candidate in the Department of History at Purdue University. Her transnational scholarship lies at the intersection of 20th century African history and Diaspora studies with a focus on relations between the USA and Ghana.
