Andrew Goodhart is a PhD candidate in Political Science (Major: International Relations, Minor: Political Methodology). His research is focused on international order (especially how variation in the type of international order affects the probability of war); competitive strategies; and the use of computational models to evaluate disputes in IR theory.
Andrew served as a Defense Strategist in the Office of the Secretary of Defense until 2016. In that role, he focused on international order, great power competition, and "gray zone" conflict. Andrew is a native of Ohio and earned a BA/MA in Political Science from Ohio University.
