Dom Scarlett is a PhD student in American Politics with a focus in Political Psychology. He is interested in the causes and consequences of affective polarization and tribalism in the American mass public, especially how these phenomena can affect seemingly apolitical interpersonal relationships and overall social cohesion.

He earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Detroit Mercy where he authored an honors thesis on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
