Ruthie Pertsis is a PhD candidate in Political Science at The Ohio State University specializing in International Relations and Political Psychology. Her research considers the role of language in conflict and cooperation, particularly how the different languages spoken around the world help explain different patterns of perception, thought, and behavior in the international system. She teaches a course in Identity Politics.

Before coming to OSU, Ruthie earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Psychology at the University of Toronto, and a Graduate Certificate in Political Psychology at the George Washington University.
