Jill graduated from Ohio University with a MA in Geography and International Studies. Her area of specialization is in the region of Latin America with a specific focus on Brazil. Her research interests pertain to issues in the subfields of cultural, feminist, social, and population geography. Her two research projects included a study of caesarean sections in Sao Paulo, Brazil as well as Brazilian immigration to the United States. Upon completion of her MA degree in November of 2011, Jill has been doing academic advising for students in the Arts and Sciences. She joined Ohio State’s Arts and Sciences advising team in December of 2012.
