Careers in Political Science

Most political science majors do not become professional political scientists; they go into careers such as law, education, business, and federal, state or local government. A political science degree can also open doors to a wide range of rewarding part-time and volunteer opportunities.

The Career Services Office in the College of Arts and Sciences has extensive information about career opportunities in both the private and public sectors, and can help to arrange interviews with prospective employers for students who register with them. The Office also offers career counseling for students entering the job market immediately after graduation.  For more information please visit their website or stop by  their office in 48 Townshend Hall.

Here you can explore some of the job opportunities available to Ohio State students. For a complete list please visit the Futurelink website.
