Going on the Market

Going on the market for your first academic job can be a daunting process. Dealing with the morass of files, letters, application dates, and presentation preparation can inundate the newly minted job candidate. With this in mind, the Dept. of Political Science collected a number of articles and web sites to aid its job candidates. Below you will find helpful articles and web sites that detail the job process, and more importantly, provide important tips to land that first job. As always, any hints and suggestions to improve this site (or to enligthen your fellow graduate students) are greatly appreciated.
