Brief Bio Lyndsey Stanfill is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science at the Ohio State University. Born and raised in Paducah, KY, she holds a B.A. in English (2001) and an M.A. in Political Science (2003) from the University of Louisville. As a student of American Politics, she has specialized research and teaching interests in legislative organization and behavior, political parties and interest groups, state politics, and gender politics. Lyndsey also has political methodology interests in areas such as duration models, spatial models, multilevel models, and survey research design. In 2005-2006, Lyndsey was the junior fellow for the Program in Statistics and Methodology (PRISM) under Jan Box-Steffensmeier where she was able to further her methodological interests and gain valuable methodological experience. Currently, Lyndsey is employed by the Central Ohio Regional School Improvement Team as the Research Design and Data Collection Specialist. In this environment, Lyndsey uses her methodological skills to help schools in central Ohio meet state and federal education standards, while receiving hands-on professional development. |
