Hello and welcome to my website. My research and teaching interests are
in the areas of comparative politics, political economy and development,
and democratization with a regional emphasis in Latin
America. I am also
interested in the study of other so-called "Third
World" regions and I have incorporated them in some of
the courses I have taught (e.g., sub-Saharan Africa
and southeast Asia). I have
included here my C.V., sample syllabi and hand-outs for the courses I
have taught, a brief description of the projects I am working on, and my
dissertation document. Feel free
